Press Release
The local Salvation Army has purchased a new building—the former Movie Gallery on Scott Street—to replace its aging property on Victoria Avenue.
While there still are many renovations to be done to the new property to make it suitable for community outreach, we are pleased to announce this project is in the works.
We are hoping to be moved into the new building by next summer and eagerly are anticipating the opportunity to grow our Thrift Store, worship space, and family services.
The Salvation Army is guided by core operational values, and sharing this news with the local community aids us in observing the value of celebration.
We believe that commemorating milestones confers respect on the people involved, as well as observing the occasion.
As we have been active in the Fort Frances community since 1914, we are proud to mark this chance to increase our positive influence.
