Families with pre- and grade school children are invited to join in the fun, games, prizes, and food at the annual Family Fun Fair at Rainy River Community College in International Falls tomorrow.
This event is sponsored by the Alpha Rho Alpha chapter of Phi Theta Kappa international honor society for students in two-year colleges as a part of the Diversity Festival at the college.
The society promotes scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service. This activity is a part of their commitment to community service.
The group’s campus advisor is Barbara Murray, associate dean of Continuing Education and Custom Training.
College students who are members of the group will be on hand to do face-painting, a hoop shoot, ring toss, cake walk, and other games. There will be hot dogs and the trimmings for an early spring picnic supper from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the college commons.
Children need to be accompanied by an adult to participate in this free event, which is open to the public.
