The Fort Frances OPP is looking for a male suspected of robbing the Mid-Town Motel and assaulting the owner around 7 p.m. yesterday.
Police described the suspect as a First Nations male, approximately 5’9” with a slender build, and wearing a “G Unit” white over blue hooded sweatshirt.
Police were able to determine the suspect entered the motel office demanding cash from the owner and assaulted him.
The owner received injuries as a result of the robbery but wasn’t taken to hospital, police said in a press release issued this morning.
Officers were on scene within minutes of receiving the call and the K-9 Unit was called in.
