In March, 1981, Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc. established a Quarter-Century Club to honour employees of the corporation and auxiliary members with 25 years or more of service.
In 2001, physicians who have had 25 or more years with hospital privileges at Riverside were included in the club.
Members reaching 24, 30, or 40 years of service are honoured at a special recognition ceremony.
This year’s ceremony will take place next Tuesday (March 29) at the local Legion.
New members to be honoured this year include Dorothy Gamie (La Verendrye Hospital), Jan Gustafson (La Verendrye Hospital), Maxine Irvine (Emo Health Centre), Joan-Ann Lockhart (La Verendrye Hospital), Joann Magel (Rainycrest), Doreen Mercer (Home Support), Darcy Parsons (La Verendrye Hospital), Deborah Pattison (La Verendrye Hospital), Julie Ricard (Rainycrest), Judy Steinke (Rainycrest), and Brenda Wood (Home Support).
Attaining 30 years of service are Deborah Adams (Rainycrest), Wendy Derendorf (La Verendrye Hospital), Cheryl Hughes (La Verendrye Hospital), Patti Johnson (La Verendrye Hospital), Vi Kocuiba (La Verendrye Hospital), Mel Morken (La Verendrye Hospital), Janice Mundle (Rainycrest), Lydie Nussbaumer (Emo Health Centre), and Russell Paterson (Rainycrest).

Being honoured for 30 years of service are Anne Anderson (La Verendrye), Vi Domanski (La Verendrye), Lois Makarenko-Witherspoon (La Verendrye), Louise Medhurst (La Verendrye), Lillian Morrison (La Verendrye), and June Smith (La Verendrye).
Being honoured for 40 years of sevice is Marg Rogozinski (La Verendrye).
