Getting the proper nutrition while you are away at college of university is so important. Are you prepared?
We would like to help you. Rylee Blasky who is a recent nutrition graduate, and Rooksana Randeree, Registered Dietitian at Riverside Health Care Facilities, are providing a pair of two-hour sessions that will explore the basics of meal planning, cooking for one and tips to navigate campus eateries to survive your time at university or college.
This is a great opportunity for 1st year students or those returning to school.
Sign up now for these free summer sessions. The first session is taking place from 1-3 p.m. on July 13 and 15.
The second session will be held on Aug. 18-19 from 1-3 p.m.
There is no charge, however, space is limited so call now to reserve your spot!
Both sessions will be held in the ground floor meeting room at La Verendrye Hospital.
