Riverside honours longtime employees, auxiliary members

In March, 1981, Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc. established a Quarter-Century Club to honour employees of the corporation and auxiliary members with 25 years or more of service.
In 2001, physicians who have had 25 or more years with hospital privileges at Riverside were included in the Quarter-Century Club.
This year, Rainycrest staff and auxiliary were invited to participate.
Members reaching 25, 30, or 40 years of service were honoured at a special ceremony last night at the local Legion.
New members honoured this year for 25 years of service included:
•Loraine Currie (La Verendrye Hospital);
•Laurel Desrosiers (Rainy River Health Centre);
•Shelley Ducharme (Rainycrest Long-Term Care);
•Bonnie Elyk (Rainycrest Long-Term Care);
•Dianne Lipinski (La Verendrye Hospital);
•Shirley Smith (Rainycrest Long-Term Care); and
•Jon Thompson (La Verendrye Hospital)
Other members honoured for 30 years of service were:
•Karen Egan (La Verendrye Hospital);
•Rhonda Henrickson (Emo Health Centre);
•Bonny Montgomery (Rainycrest Long-Term Care);
•Judy Sandelovich (Rainycrest Long-Term Care); and
•Grace Silander (La Verendrye Hospital)
Other members with 26+ years honoured from Rainycrest included Deborah Adams, Diane Darvell, Barbara Jewell, Jack Gray, Karen Green, Carol Gustafson, Larry Hands, Leuella Heil, Dana Helder, Sharon Helder, and Ian Johnstone.
Rounding our the list were Penny Kuchma, Gail Lemieux, Sharon McPherson, Gail McTavish, Janice Mundle, Donna Paterson, Russell Paterson, Patricia Roth, and Connie Wood.

La Verendrye Hospital auxiliary members honoured this year for 25 years of service included Bev Busch, Lois Makarenko-Witherspoon, Lois Medhurst, Lillian Morrison, and Marjorie Smart.
Rainycrest Long-Term Care auxiliary members honoured this year for 25 years of service were Jo Benson, Dorothy Cupp, Margaret Haley, Hilda Hoffman, June Keddie, Helen Logan, and Helen Matheson.
