Dr. Bruce Meyer, accomplished author, poet, lecturer, and broadcaster, will give a public lecture on the topic, “What Makes Great Literature,” on Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at the ATAC Building at Lakehead University.
Dr. Meyer also will give a writing workshop, entitled “Making Your Writing More Visual,” on Saturday, March 6 at 2 p.m. at Waverley Resource Library.
Both events are free and open to the public.
Dr. Meyer, whose CBC series with Michael Enright on the Great Books has become an audio best-seller, also is currently a finalist in TVO’s “Best Lecturer” competition.
