Seniors Month activities continue this week as registration closes for the Seniors Game days planned for next week.
The game days are scheduled for Tuesday, June 22 and Wednesday, June 23, with planned activities including ladder toss, horseshoes, bocce ball and bean bag toss. The activities will be a mix of individual and team based, and there will be prizes for first and second place, as well as for participation. A penny table will also be on site.
Registration for the events is being held today from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and space is limited to the first ten people or ten teams for each game, so anyone wishing to take part in the game days is asked to call 274-7656 to register in advance.
The game days are the latest of the activities that were planned for Seniors Month. Events kicked off on June 7 with a River Walk along Rainy River, and was followed by a scavenger hunt that saw teams sent across town to answer questions, solve riddles and discover hidden clues. Senior’s Month will end off with a Drive Thru Bar-be-cue on Tuesday, June 29.
