The Fort Frances Public Library’s summer reading program is coming to a close, which means time is running low for whose still trying to get in their book reports.
The party to celebrate those readers who read “tonnes” of books will be held next Friday (Aug. 22) at noon, so the deadline to submit any last-minute book reports is this coming Wednesday (Aug. 20).
The library is proud to announce more than 200 children registered for the “Laugh Out Loud @ the Library” reading program, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, and the staff looks forward to helping them celebrate their accomplishments.
In related news, teens still have time to enter the draw for “Rock Band” at the library.
They only need to read six books at their reading level to have chance of winning this critically-acclaimed game.
The deadline for this contest is Aug. 27 so you’d better get cracking on those books!
