Rainycrest gets 10 new beds

The Ministry of Health and Long-term Care has approved 10 temporary beds for Rainycrest Home for the Aged here.
This raises the home’s bed capacity from 135 to 145.
The announcement will help alleviate the acute care bed usage at Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc., Rainycrest administrator Jill Colquhoun said in a press release late yesterday.
Resident admissions will be from the hospital, meet identified criteria, and take place over the next three weeks, Colquhoun added.
