Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty will be touring the riding for a series of pre-budget consultations from Jan. 5-12.
Constituents are encouraged to come to one or more of the meetings to discuss the needs of the riding, as well as to offer suggestions for a pre-budget letter that will be sent to the finance minister.
The dates, location, and time of the meetings in this area are as follows:
•Jan. 5—Rainy River Legion (6-9 p.m.);
•Jan. 6—Emo Legion (6-9 p.m.);
•Jan. 7—Our lady of Way School in Stratton (from 6-9 p.m.);
•Jan. 8—Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau (6-9 p.m.); and
•Jan. 9—Atikokan Pioneer Centre (6-9 p.m.)
Rafferty also would like encourage those who can to bring along a non-perishable food donation in support of a local agency devoted to helping those in need.
