“Quest For The Best” is back for another year on Friday, July 19 starting at 7:30 p.m. under the big tent at the Sorting Gap Marina.
The evening will feature 20 solo and duet performances accompanied by talented musicians, The Faculty.
This year, Badiuk Equipment Lund Boats Mercury Marine will be sponsoring the $1,000 grand prize. Songs are expected to range in styles from country, pop, ’80s hits, and even original pieces.
Audiences will look forward to some returning favourites, past participants making their musical comeback, and a few new competitors.
Contestants from all different musical levels will get quality practice time in with The Faculty.
For the final battle song, the top vocalists from each set will compete back and forth as they perform Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train.”
Tickets, which cost $15 each, are on sale at Northwoods Gallery and Gifts, Causeway Insurance, and NCDS–the last of which will be selling tickets each weekday until 7 p.m.
VIP tickets also will be sold for $20 on a first come, first serve basis which guarantees front row seating includes refreshments and a table for eight-10 people.
