‘Project Petunia’ nearly sold out

“Project Petunia” is almost sold out.
The annual beautification initiative by the Rainy River Future Development Corp. only has 10 more flower baskets up for sponsorship.
A total of 40 have been adopted so far.
These are the baskets that are hung along King’s Highway during the late spring and summer months to help brighten up the community.
Baskets can be purchased by individuals, businesses, or community groups, and can be sponsored in memory of loved ones.
Petunia baskets can be sponsored for $50 per basket.
Those interested can contact Natasha Gaudio at the RRFDC (274-9621).
Donations can be made by cheque or cash, or online at www.rrfdc.on.ca/project-petunia
Sponsors will be recognized with an ad in the Fort Frances Times when the baskets are hung in mid-May.
The RRFDC has facilitated this beautification project since 2016.
