Residents in the west end of Rainy River District, and north into Kenora District, probably didn’t wake up to the sound of their alarm clocks this morning.
A total of 8,300 Hydro One customers experienced a power outage early today.
Power went out at 3:18 a.m. and was fully restored by 7:30.
Restoration was in stages so some customers may have gotten their power back sooner than others.
Hydro One did not know the cause of the outage as of press time.
