Some Hydro One customers east of Fort Frances can expect a planned power interruption Monday (July 4).
The power interruption will start at 8 a.m., with power being restored by 4 p.m., Hydro One reported.
This will affect 416 customers in Baker, Lac La Croix, Mine Centre, Perch Lake, Seiner River 23 AFN, and Tanner.
Hydro One said the interruption is required to perform maintenance and upgrades to equipment.
“We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers. However, scheduled power interruptions are necessary to maintain a reliable power delivery system,” Hydro One said in a press release. “Your patience is appreciated.”
