Residents in Fort Frances and surrounding area will experience a scheduled power outage this Sunday (Sept. 20).
Fort Frances Power Corp. customers, as well as Hydro One customers in Rainy Lake 18C FN, Halkirk, Watten, Farrington, Couchiching 16A FN, and Red Gut FN, will be without power from about 7 a.m.-1 p.m.
The interruption is necessary so Hydro One can perform equipment upgrades.
Meanwhile, a total of 899 Hydro One customers will experience a one-hour power outage on Monday (Sept. 21) from 7-8 a.m.
Affected areas include Emo, Chapple, Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls, Fleming, Richardson, Godson, Kingsford, Ojibways of Onigaming FN, Senn, and Sifton.
