More than 500 district customers will see a power interruption on Thursday, April 29 so Hydro One can perform maintenance and upgrades to its system.
The townships of Burriss, Carpenter, Crozier, Dance, and Devlin are expected to be affected, specifically customers along Highway 613, including Northwest Bay FN, and those along Highway 611 North.
Also affected are customers along Highway 11/71 between 611 North and 613 North, including Hammond Road, Kehl Road, Heward Road, McTavish Road, La Vallee Road North and South, and Cemetery Road.
The power outage is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. and be restored by 4 p.m.
Affected customers will be notified by automated phone message.
“We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers,” Hydro One said in a press release. “However, scheduled power interruptions are necessary to maintain a reliable power delivery system.
“Your patience is appreciated,” it added.
