A potential strike by Canada Post workers will mean a delivery disruption for some subscribers of the Fort Frances Times.
Those who receive the Times via postal carrier, P.O. boxes, RR#1, RR#2, and going eastwards in the district from Fort Frances (i.e., Mine Centre) will not get their paper delivered in case of strike.
From Devlin west to Rainy River, papers will be delivered to the appropriate post offices, and delivered from there, as those workers are under a separate contract.
Papers to news dealers will be going out, as well.
For those whose delivery will be affected by a strike, the Times will be available for pick-up at our office (116 First St. E.) after 3 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Our office hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Any papers not picked up at the office will be mailed out after the strike is over.
