On Tuesday around 10:35 a.m., Rainy River District OPP officers responded to a report of a deceased male inside a residence at the Elizabeth Street Manor here.
The OPP Forensic Identification Unit was assisting the regional coroner to confirm the identity of the male and determine the cause of death.
A post-mortem examination was conducted yesterday at Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the OPP North West Region Crime Unit.
