Town council will hear a presentation from two local residents regarding change rooms at the Memorial Sports Centre during its regular meeting tonight.
Cathie Sinninghe and Lindsay Strickland are scheduled to speak at 6:30 p.m.
The committee of the whole will hold a budget meeting first starting at 5:30 p.m.
It then will go in-camera for an indefinite amount of time to discuss three items before being re-opened to the public.
Other items on tonight’s agenda include:
•a report re: 2015 contributions to reserve funds;
•a report re: the BIA web page request;
•a report re: Sister Kennedy Centre operational review;
•the St. Francis Sports Field joint use agreement;
•a recommendation re: a septic system for Eighth Street property;
•the awarding of Tender 16-OF-05 (supply and installation of a groundwater);
•a report on the proposed “Fight the Blight” campaign;
•a summary of council remuneration and expenses for 2015; and
•letters from the Canadian Mental Health Association (Fort Frances branch), the FFHS “Chem-Free Grad Party” committee, and “Operation Lifesaver.”
