Members of the Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised yesterday morning that a body had been located in a wooded area behind a church on First Avenue North in Sioux Lookout. Officers attended and a female was located at that location.
The deceased has been identified as Regina Kakekaspan, female, 15 years old, of Sioux Lookout.
A post mortem examination is scheduled for today in Kenora.
With the assistance of the Forensic Identification Unit and the North West Crime Unit the investigation continues into the circumstances of the death.
