Carol-Lynne Oldale has resigned as education director for the Northwest Catholic District School Board here, effective July 14, the board announced this morning.
Oldale has accepted the position of director of education with the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, the local board noted.
She had been appointed as director here Jan. 1, 1999.
Oldale deeply expressed her appreciation to the board for the wonderful experience she has enjoyed over the past two-and-a-half years here, the board said in a press release.
She also applauded the board, administration, and staff for their dedication and commitment to providing quality Catholic education programs for their students in faith-filled learning environments balanced by fiscal responsibility and sound financial planning.
Trustees wish Oldale well as she embarks on this new challenge, the press release stated.
The local Catholic board now is in the process of searching for a new director to replace Oldale.
