NODN names new manager

Brian Miles, president of the Northwestern Ontario Development Network (NODN) board of directors would like to announce the appointment of Dan Brenzavich as the new NODN manager.
“I am excited to start a new chapter in the life of the Northwestern Ontario Development Network as our organization looks forward to the challenges we face in making NODN a staple in Northwestern Ontario’s Economic Development future,” said Brenzavich.
NODN is a leading inclusive economic development organization working with and supporting members and partners to develop and grow in Northwestern Ontario.
The network was founded as an informal group in 1988 by economic development officers from eight member communities in Northwestern Ontario. Formally incorporated in April of 1991.
With financial assistance from FedNor, membership revenues and projects, such as the Northwest Midwest Alliance (NMA) which is dedicated to building business linkages between Northwestern Ontario and the Midwest United States, the NODN has been able to help the communities of Northwestern Ontario take control of their own economic planning and exercise bottom-up decision-making.
The NODN, in partnership with the City of Thunder Bay, is proud to host the upcoming 2006 EDAC Conference to be held in Thunder Bay, Sept. 23-26, bringing together economic developers from across the country.
