The Muskie girls’ hockey team is headed to the NorWOSSA semi-finals after dumping the host Red Lake Rams 7-1 in their single-game quarter-final contest last night.
Shilo Beck dominated on offence, scoring four goals to spark her team to victory.
Hailey Clendenning, Katie Sinclair, and Amy Penner also tallied.
With the win, Fort High now will face the first-place Dryden Eagles in the best-of-three semi-final showdown, which opens there today at 6:30 p.m.
Game 2 goes here Sunday at 2:45 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena.
Game 3, if necessary, will go Tuesday night back in Dryden.
Meanwhile, the Muskie boys’ hockey team will open their best-of-three NorWOSSA semi-final series versus the Dryden Eagles today at 8:15 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena.
Game 2 goes Sunday in Dryden, with Game 3, if necessary, back here Tuesday night.
The Muskies earned a bye to the semi-finals after finishing with a league-best 13-0-0-1 record during the regular season.
Dryden advanced following a 3-2 win over the Sioux Lookout Warriors in a one-game quarter-final tilt Wednesday afternoon.
