Musical revue set to go

In what has become a tradition here each fall, Fort Frances High School will stage its musical revue this Wednesday through Friday (Nov. 2-4) at the Townshend Theatre.
“The show we’re doing this year is ‘What’s In A Name?’” noted music director John Dutton.
“It’s all songs that have names in them. We’re featuring about 50 different songs,” he added. “The music will be from the ’30s, ’40s, ’50s, right up into the ’90s and present day.
“A whole mix of stuff, lots of fun stuff,” Dutton enthused. “A big chorus. Lots of solos. It should be a lot of fun.”
Dutton said between 65 and 70 students are involved in the show this year. They’ve been working hard over the past month to get together a revue that’s sure to entertain.
Tickets for the show cost $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
The curtain rises at 7:30 p.m. each night.
