‘Movember’ ending with ’stache bash

Staff

With tomorrow being the final day of “Movember,” Boston Pizza here will be wrapping up the special month with a “Movember ’Stache Bash” starting at 8 p.m.
This year, four local men registered for Boston Pizza’s “Movember” competition—and have been growing soup strainers all month long.
Each week, contestants William Gomez, Brad Oster, Shaun Whalen, and Andrew Wiersema have been posting their photos on the BP Fort Frances Facebook page, and the public has been voting with “likes” as to who has the best.
Tomorrow night, the winner of the contest will be announced and take home an Apple iPad Air.
The contestants then will be shaving off their crumb catchers.
Everyone is welcome to come by Boston Pizza and celebrate with the contestants.
First established in Australia in 2003, “Movember” has grown over the past decade.
It’s now a global phenomenon where millions of men grow facial hair to raise awareness of men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer.
