Patrick Morrisseau was elected to the Couchiching band council in yesterday’s byelection.
He will join Chief Sarah Mainville and fellow councillors Ron Archie, Bill Perrault, Dave Bruyere, Lucille “Bugsy” Morrisseau, and Christine Jourdain on council until the next band election in 2016.
Angela Mainville, Daniel Mainville, and Nicole Perrault also ran in yesterday’s byelection.
It was called after Ed Yerxa resigned his council seat in late October.
