There will be four more names on the ballot for the Oct. 27 municipal election.
June Caul and Eric Fagerdahl filed their nomination papers today, while incumbent Coun. Doug Kitowski filed his nomination papers yesterday, along with newcomer Joe Kneisz.
They bring the total number of candidates running for the six seats on council to 13.
Also running are incumbents John Albanese, Ken Perry, and Paul Ryan, as well as newcomers Dan Belluz, Jennifer Greenhalgh, Ed Haglund, Jennifer Horton, Scott Krienke-Turvey, and Charleen Mallory.
Mayor Roy Avis and Coun. Andrew Hallikas have filed to run for the mayor’s chair.
On the education front, three candidates are running for the two Fort Frances trustee seats on the Rainy River District School Board.
They include incumbent David Kircher, along with newcomers Raymond Roy and Stephen Sinclair.
Meanwhile, Bob Grynol has filed for one of the two Fort Frances seats on the Northwest Catholic District School Board.
Candidates must submit their nomination to the town clerk by 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12.
Mail-in ballots will be sent out to voters in early October.
