Construction is slated to begin at the intersection of Second Street East and Portage Avenue on Tuesday (June 22).
Bay City Contracting will begin work at 11 a.m. and continue for roughly a 10-day period, Operations and Facilities manager Doug Brown stated yesterday afternoon in an e-mail update on local construction projects.
As a result of this construction, Second Street East will be closed to through traffic from Victoria Avenue to Mowat Avenue.
As well, Portage Avenue will be closed from First Street to Third Street.
Traffic control signage will be installed to re-rout vehicles.
