Fort Frances OPP is seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing person.
Michael Andy, 14, was last seen departing from La Place Rendez-Vous at 8:45 p.m. yesterday.
He is described as a First Nations male, five feet tall, and weighing 140 pounds with a medium build. He has short black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a white baseball hat, dark track pants, and a black hooded sweatshirt with a white skull on the back.
Anyone has seen this missing youth, or has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or by cell phone at *OPP.
In other police news, Dryden OPP officers were dispatched to a fatal fire involving a fifth-wheel trailer off Johnston Road in Wainright Township on Friday.
A lone male occupant of the trailer, who was overnighting in it, failed to escape the blaze.
The Ontario Fire Marshall and the OPP are investigating the fire.
A post-mortem examination was conducted on the victim at the Kenora District Hospital and foul play is not suspected.
The identity of the victim has yet to be confirmed.
Police are continuing their investigation into the fire.
