Grade eight students and their parents will meet at Fort Frances High School tonight to learn more about what life in high school will be like next year.
The meeting will be held in the Fort High cafeteria at 7 p.m.
“It’s very similar to the presentations we made to the students at the feeder schools, but a lot of parents can’t get to those because they work and we wanted to give them the same information,” said Mary Jane Gushulak, co-ordinator of student services at Fort High.
There will be presentations on course selection and the mandatory volunteer community service hours, as well as how the students can get involved in extra-curricular activities.
Gushulak said staff administration will be on hand to answer questions from parents or students. She urged all students to attend.
