Man nabbed after five-hour chase

DRYDEN, Ont.—Ontario police have charged a 33-year-old Alberta man after two businesses were robbed, two cars were stolen, and officers were led on a five-hour pursuit through the area of Dryden, Ont.
Police say the chase began after they spotted a stolen vehicle on a highway but the driver refused to pull over.
The vehicle collided with a police cruiser before the driver allegedly broke into another car and fled again.
He eventually was arrested in a wooded area after losing control of that vehicle.
Ronald Hanlon, of Olds, Alta., was charged with theft under $5,000, theft over $5,000, possession of stolen property over $5,000, fleeing from police, and three counts of dangerous driving.
