The Fort Frances OPP Crime Unit, with the support of the Northwest Region Crime Unit and the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, have charged a male with several sexual offences against three men who were in their early teen years at the time.
Garry Donald Mathewson, 43, was charged with 11 counts of sexual exploitation and one count of sexual interference.
The offences took place within Rainy River District and Thunder Bay District between 1992 and 1999.
Mathewson was arrested in Vancouver, B.C. on July 14, with the assistance of the RCMP and Canada Border Services.
He subsequently was returned to Fort Frances, where he remains in custody.
He was scheduled to appear in court today for a bail hearing.
