Around 4:15 p.m. yesterday, Thunder Bay OPP officers were called to the Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park and interacted with a male subject.
During the interaction, the male fell into the Kakabeka Falls canyon and died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained.
The OPP notified the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), which has invoked its mandate.
As a result, the OPP will be unable to release further information.
