A 22-year-old Onigaming First Nation man has been charged with one count of second-degree murder.
Thomas Ryan Indian was arrested Tuesday by members of the OPP and is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow (Aug. 13) in Kenora, police reported yesterday.
The charge stems from a stabbing at an Onigaming residence that occurred on the night of April 8.

The victim, who died as a result of a single stab wound, was identified as William Kelly, 45, of Onigaming, a reserve on Highway 71 just north of Nestor Falls.
At the request of the T3PS, the OPP’s North West Region Crime Unit, under the direction of Insp. Dan Davidson of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, was called in to assist in this homicide investigation.
