The Atikokan Crisis Centre is hosting its free monthly women’s luncheon this Thursday (Oct. 23) from noon-1 p.m. at La Place Rendez-Vous.
All Fort Frances and area women are invited to meet with the women’s support group, which discusses monthly topics determined by the group.
Issues to be addressed may include date rape, women’s health, intimate partner violence, and how to recognize signs of abuse in others.
This week’s topic is safety planning.
