The OPP Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by members of the Fort Frances OPP detachment, Fort Frances OPP Crime Unit, and the Northwest Region K-9 Unit, participated in a drug investigation here Friday.
Police conducted a vehicle stop, which resulted in locating a large amount of cash, Oxycontin pills, and marijuana.
The seized drugs have a street value of more than $1,000.
Two Fort Frances residents were inside the vehicle when it was stopped.
Tara Tovey, 19, and Jamie Bragg, 20, were arrested and charged with offences contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Both are scheduled to appear in court here July 21.
