Local man faces multiple break and enter charges

(FORT FRANCES, ON) – A 30 year old Fort Frances man is facing multiple charges for three break and enters which took place between January 11 and 13.

On Jan 11, 2021 shortly after 8:00 am officers from the rainy river district detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a break and enter at a local business on First Street East in Fort Frances.The accused is now charged with: Break and Enter; Theft under $5000; Mischief under $5000; Possession of property obtained by crime and Possession of Heroine

On January 12, 2021 shortly before 2:00pm officers from the Rainy River District Detachment were called to a break and enter at a pharmacy in Fort Frances. Officers conducted an investigation and as a result the accused is charged with: Break and Enter; Theft under $5000 and Possession of Property obtained by crime.

On January 13, 2021 shortly before 2:00 members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police attended a break and enter and two separate pharmacies in Fort Frances. With the assistance of the Northwest Region K9 and NWR Emergency Response Team, the accused was taken into custody and charged with: 2 counts of Break and Enter and 2 Counts of Possession of Property Obtained by crime.
