Local man busted with pills

Members of the Fort Frances OPP detachment, along with members of the Northwest Region Crime Unit and Community Drug Action Team, seized a substantial amount of Oxycontin pills from a local man last Tuesday (March 23).
As a result of the investigation, police seized 200 80 mg Oxycontin pills and 22 40 mg Oxycontin pills.
The total street value of the drug seizure is roughly $21,000.
Police also seized $1,000 in Canadian currency.
Gerald Mosher, 58, of Fort Frances was arrested and charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking Oxycodone.
He currently is remanded into custody at the Fort Frances Jail pending a show cause hearing.
