The Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29 and the local ladies auxiliary held its Honours and Awards Night here Monday.
For the ladies auxiliary, life membership awards were presented to Joanne Gosselin, Florence Hill, Alyce Lambert, Helen Matheson, Marie McDiarmid, Nancy Shaw, and Betty Sivonen.
Pins for years of service were presented to:
•55 years—Dorothy Burrell and Dorothy Cupp;
•50 years—Marie McDiarmid and Marguerite Woodbury;
•40 years—Mary Clinker, Irene Huntley, Betty Newman, and Betty Sivonen; and

The Past Officer’s Medal was awarded to Norma Perlett–Treasurer (32 years).
