Ernest Thompson Distributors Ltd. has been sold.
The last day of service for this long-time community business is Friday, Nov. 4.
It was Ernie Thompson’s real dream come true when he and his wife, Lois, began their business more than a half-century ago.
Beginning with their children and continuing with more than 50 staff over the years, they consistently have exemplified the values and virtues of a family business, extending dependability, trust, and loyalty to their customers, business partners, staff, and friends.
Mel, Glenna, Kim, Tim, and Brian will be joining the incoming staff and new owners, Larry and Jay Webb.
Merging the two businesses (Webb’s and Thompson’s) will create a broader and more comprehensive wholesale food service for the district.
The amalgamated business will be operating out of Thompson’s warehouse at 930 Fifth St. W.
Lois, Wendy, and Bruce, along with their current staff, have enjoyed serving you to meet your food service needs.
Ernest Thompson Distributors Ltd. wishes the new owners all the best for the future, and thanks its many customers for their support and business throughout the years.
