As part of the downsizing of its prop and costume collection, Fort Frances Little Theatre moved out of the west end rink shack over the weekend—and is in the process of getting rid of more items.
“The essentials are moved—with a little extra room to spare—and we need to just fine-tune some costumes and leftover items at the hall,” noted FFLT member and director Cathy Richards.
“In the process, we have made an inventory of all Little Theatre possessions,” she added. “We will be offering the spotlight to the Border Figure Skating Club, hats and trunks to the Fort Frances Museum, and Shaw TV is keeping some pieces.
“We still have 4×8 wooden risers to give away, old-style doors, and a wooden ramp,” said Richards.
Due to the fact the west end rink shack had been broken into and some items stolen, FFLT isn’t revealing its new storage location.
In related news, scripts for the play, “I’ll Be Back Before Midnight,” by Canadian playwright Peter Colley, are on order and FFLT will be advertising a read through/audition in the near future.
