The Fort Frances Public Library Board and staff are pleased to announce that a generous gift of $1.1 million dollars has been received from the estate of Patricia Cunningham. Joyce Cunningham, mother of Patricia, was a former library board chair who was instrumental in getting the present library built.
Joyce worked tirelessly to ensure the library is the aesthetically pleasing and modern facility that the town enjoys today and instilled in Patricia the intrinsic value that libraries impart to the communities they serve.
It is a wonderful testament to the kindness and social conscience of both Patricia and Joyce to leave such a generous donation that will serve the community for many years to come.
