Library Hours

The Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre is pleased to announce that the library will be extending our open hours beginning tomorrow, Tuesday December 1, 2020.

We will be open to the public on Tuesdays 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Wednesdays 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Thursdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

We will be holding curbside pick-up concurrently with our open hours.

We are also excited to announce that the library book drop is once again open 24 hour a day, 7 days per week.

Curbside Delivery will continue for the foreseeable future and will be augmented by the extended in-person hours. Borrowed items must still be put in the book drop so we can quarantine them for the recommended 72 hours. Our shelves can now be browsed and overdue fines have been suspended indefinitely.

In order to keep everyone safe, we are limiting the number of people allowed in at one time and time limits will be assigned. Computers have been spaced 2 metres apart and reservations must be made at the front desk. Some of our spaces have been re-organized to maintain social distancing so please follow our signs and floor markings.

“We are very excited about offering more hours for our patrons to browse the shelves. Picking out your own library books is one of the great pleasures.” says Library CEO, Joan MacLean.
