It’s that time again!
The Friends of the Library are hosting their annual bake sale at the Fort Frances Public Library this Friday (Feb. 9) from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
This year’s bake sale also will include some sugar-free goodies.
In related news, the Friends of the Library are having a raffle this year for an exquisite gift basket filled with baking supplies.
Tickets cost $2 each or three for $5., which are available at the library.
Are you member of the Friends of the Library? The annual bake sale marks the kick-off of this year’s membership drive.
The “Friends” are involved in many activities throughout the year. They organize events to raise funds to purchase equipment and materials not available through the regular library funding.
Friends of the Library can volunteer for one event—or all of them. Be a baker, a tagger, ticket-seller, sit on the Friends of the Library committee, help with the shut-in service, and many more activities.
There is no cost to be a Friend of the Library, but donations are greatly appreciated.
Members of the Friends of the Library will be available at the bake sale on Friday to answer any questions and sign up new members.
