Legion Ladies to be busy

The Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #29 general meeting was held Wednesday, Sept. 12 with 37 members attending. Welcome back everyone.
The attendance draw was won by June Anderson, while Char Calder won the birthday draw for August and Alfreda Easton won for September.
Jean Smith and Ladonna Klem were reinstated members. Glad to have you with us.
With summer over, we are now concentrating on our annual Remembrance Day Tea on Sunday, Nov. 4.
Please bring in any items you can donate for the penny table and a non-perishable item for the food hamper.
Any member wishing to help in any way please call Silvia Gunderson at 274-9388.
Making of perogies will be Sept. 20 and 21 at 9 a.m. Cabbage rolls will be made Sept. 26 and 27 at 9 a.m.

On Sunday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m., we will be holding our 85th Anniversary Tea and Fashion Show.
Fashions from the 1920s to present day will be shown.
Groups are welcome to challenge each other by dressing for a period in any of the periods and decorating a table as well.
Tables will be available at $50 each or $5 a person to attend. Money raised will go toward the digital mammography campaign for the hospital.
