The Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary to Branch #29 held their monthly meeting upstairs at the Fort Frances Legion on April 13, 2022, with 16 members in attendance.
The meeting was opened by First Vice-President Emily Watson.
The Charter was draped in memory of Freda Yuill, Esther Fedoruk and Sandy Pruys.
Committee reports were read and dealt with as well as all correspondence.
Bake Sale and Cookie Walk was a success for the day and continues on Thursday.
Members, along with Branch #29 members will be hosting the Rainycrest Bingo on April 20th.
Convention will be held in Thunder Bay on July 4,5,6, 2022. Election of Delegates will take place at next General Meeting.
Our June meeting will start with a pot luck supper. Bring a friend to meet us.
Sandra Gosselin won the Attendance Draw. Birthday wishes to Margie Gibson.
The next monthly supper will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, with Meatballs & Scalloped Potato with all the trimmings on the menu. $20.00 pre-paid orders will be available for pick-up or delivery within Fort Frances. Call Cindy at 271-2021 or Joanne at 274-5932.
Our next General Meeting will be held on May 11.
