Kids clothing giveaway to be held next week at the Family Centre

The Family Centre is collecting donations of kids clothing for their semi-annual Kids Giveaway. The event runs from March 23 to 24. The Family Centre will have a room set up with kids clothes arranged by size. The hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days. Donations are still being accepted, and can be dropped off at the Family Centre.

“The community is so awesome when I do the clothing giveaway,” said Shine.

Event organizer Sherri Shine is busy arranging the multiple boxes and bags already donated to the semi-annual Kids Giveaway, where anyone can pick up some gently used clothing for the kids in their life. Volunteer Sherri Shine has been running this event for three years with the Family Centre. She originally started the giveaway for the community through the Volunteer Bureau nearly 10 years ago. “It’s always fun. I enjoy it,” said Shine.
