Two well-known Liberal MPs will be visiting the Thunder Bay-Rainy River riding on the weekend of March 27-28.
Justin Trudeau first will host a mix-and-mingle at the Airlane Travelodge on Friday, March 27 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. (EDT).
This event also is a membership drive as part of a nation-wide Liberal event called “Liberal Helpings,” which features similar activities across the country.
Then Martha Hall-Findlay is scheduled to attend the local Liberal riding association’s annual general meeting slated for Saturday, March 28 at 11am. (EDT) at the Knights of Columbus Centre (corner of May and Arthur).
Immediately following the meeting, Hall-Findlay will chair a forum sponsored by the Change Commission on “Improving Party Democracy,” which also will feature the Knights’ famous spaghetti-and-meatball luncheon.
