Next Wednesday (Nov. 20), the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce (FFCC) will be holding its general meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at La Place Rendez-Vous.
This meeting is open to all members in good standing.
The meeting will open at 11:30 a.m. with Fort Frances town councillor Douglas Judson as guest speaker.
Coun. Judson will be speaking about a new initiative he is proposing which is aimed at helping local residents and businesses show leadership in sustainability and environmental protection.
The FFCC believes that fostering partnerships and promoting sustainable business and consumer practices is key to strengthening our community and attracting future-oriented enterprises to Fort Frances.
The meeting will also include a message from president Cathy Emes, a report from the treasurer, and committee reports.
This is a good opportunity for FFCC members to reflect on all that we have accomplished this past year, and to learn about what we will be working on in the near future.
Any member interested in attending is asked to contact the FFCC office at 274-5773 to RSVP.
